// coding & robotics curriculum-in-a-box

Coding & robotics your own teachers can deliver, on the devices you already have.

KAT is a teaching platform, not another textbook. It gives your teachers ready-made lessons for the coding and digital-literacy topics in the national curriculum, plus a live coding environment where students actually build. It runs on the low-cost laptops and phones you already have, so there is no lab to equip and no specialist to hire.

  • Covers the coding and digital-literacy topics in the national (NERDC) curriculum, Primary 1 to SS3.
  • Runs on the everyday devices you already have, a low-cost laptop or a phone, on a basic connection.
  • Your own teachers deliver it. No coding specialist to hire, no lab to build.

// curriculum coverage

What we cover, from Primary 1 to SS3

Computing runs across the whole primary and secondary journey under a few subject names, and at senior secondary it is a compulsory core subject. KAT is a teaching platform for those topics, not an exam board or an accreditation. Here is what we cover at each level, and how your own teachers deliver it.

Coding spineDigital literacyCoding routes through the platform; digital literacy ships as teacher-led lessons.
LevelSubjectIn the curriculumWhat KAT delivers
Primary 1–3Digital literacyBasic Science. ICT strand (embedded)Embedded strandThe ICT strand embedded in Basic Science, parts of a computer, common ICT devices and safe use, delivered as a light insert a Basic Science teacher slots straight into the existing lesson.
Primary 4–6Coding spineDigital literacyBasic Digital Literacy (core subject)Core subjectFiles, documents, the internet, online safety and spreadsheets, plus block coding entering from Primary 5, ending in a capstone showcase.
JSS 1–3Coding spineDigital literacyDigital Technologies (core subject)Core subjectHardware, operating systems, networks, the web, cloud and digital ethics, plus visual coding (Scratch/Blockly) in JSS 3, into the BECE capstone.
SSS 1–3Coding spineDigital literacyDigital Technologies (compulsory core)Compulsory corePython, web (HTML/CSS), databases & SQL, AI & robotics logic, cybersecurity and tech entrepreneurship, ending in a WASSCE/NECO project defence.

Assessment is project-based end to end: every stage closes with an SBA capstone, at Primary 6, at JSS 3 into the BECE, and a Final-Year project defence at SS3 into WASSCE/NECO, all delivered and marked in the same platform.

// how a pilot works

Trial a term before you commit a seat

01

Request a pilot

Tell us your school, the levels you teach and how many students. We line your classes up with what each level should be learning and confirm a term to trial.

02

Onboard your teachers

Your own teachers get the curriculum-in-a-box: lesson plans, slides and worksheets for the digital-literacy strand, and the live platform for the coding strand. No specialist to hire, and it runs on the computers you already have.

03

Run a term, see the evidence

Students learn and build; you get progress tracking, auto-graded assessments and capstone project reviews in one place. Review the results, then license per seat, per term.

Licensed per seat, per term. Access unlocks when the term's invoice is paid.

// ready when you are

Teach the coding curriculum with the teachers you already have.

Tell us your levels and student numbers, and we'll set up a pilot term matched to what each class should be learning. No specialist to hire, no lab to equip, no long contract.
